Be creative when using keywords for your ads. Instead of using one or two, try combining these keywords to make longer phrases. This could work toward your advantage because many marketers to not realize the power in long tail keywords and they pay the price by missing out on pay per click search results. Cars might be a good keyword to use for a broad PPC ad campaign, but adding a related word that makes it more specific like, Sports Cars, brings a higher click-through rate.

Many businesses use most of the words available in their word count to place the name of their business and they don't take advantage of researched keywords. PPC advertisers could be paying more money for their ads then they need to because they haven't investigated less popular keywords that are just as effective and provide a similar return on investment (ROI).
